Modern Diplomacy

CHARACTERISTICS

This is a specialty aimed at people interested in the functioning of modern wide diplomacy and international relations issues. It places a strong emphasis on science and foreign languages ​​which together with the acquired knowledge about the reality of the international operation will enable it to operate in institutions, both international and national and intergovernmental and non-governmental. Students in the program will find such items as: diplomatic and consular law, civil service in Poland and the European Union, the history of diplomacy, conduct, creating the image and savoir-vivre (workshops), and rhetoric and public speaking techniques (workshops).

PROFESSIONAL PERSPECTIVES

Graduates of the specialization "Modern Diplomacy" are practically prepared to work in the diplomatic service. They gain qualification for the skillful movement in the international arena, in the sphere of relations between states, nations, international organizations and institutions to enable their employment in positions requiring knowledge and skills to establish contacts and conduct negotiations and mediation, both economic and political with foreign partners.
